The Jersey Office of the Information Commissioner is part of the Jersey Data Protection Authority. We are the independent office responsible for overseeing the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018 and the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011.

At the JOIC we have a passion for what we do. Whether that’s case management, communication and outreach or any of our support functions, we take pride in our work.

We are a small team with big ambitions and a clear purpose. We have grown rapidly in the last four years, not only in numbers, but in our expertise and our presence in the Island and further afield. We are the regulator for data protection and privacy in Jersey, but we are far from regular.

We are always looking for new and different ways to reach new audiences with our unique, relevant and vibrant approach to messaging. Our aim is to create rewarding careers for our employees, so we will support you with the relevant training and qualifications to excel in your role.

The wellbeing of our employees is a priority and our strong team culture ensures that everyone is valued and included.

Our offices are modern and centrally located, providing the perfect working environment. We offer an excellent pay and reward package, career development and flexible working.

Our people are the heartbeat of our work and our culture flows through everything we do. Currently, we do not have any vacancies. When we are recruiting, our vacancies will appear on this page.
