Right to Restriction of Processing (Limit use of personal information)

Under Article 33 of the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018 I am entitled to the Right to Restrict the processing of my personal information, where one of the following circumstances applies;

a. I am requesting a temporary limit in the use of my personal information whilst I contest the processing, for such a period as will enable you to verify the accuracy of my personal information.
b. the processing is unlawful and I oppose the erasure of my personal information and request the restriction of its use instead
c. I believe that you no longer need my personal information for the purposes you collected it and have been processing it, however I am requiring you to retain my personal information only for the’ establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims’
d. please limit the use of my personal information to only that which is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
