Let's Go DPO - November Session

Join us for this November Let’s Go DPO interactive session where we’ll be hearing from a Let’s Go DPO network member about the challenges of being in an advisory role to eleven data controllers, as well as the challenges of interpreting the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018 and how to then deliver this in training to many different levels within an organisation. In this session guests will also hear a network member’s experience about the good, the bad and the ugly of working with the data protection regulator.

Let’s Go DPO is a support network from the JOIC giving Data Protection Officers and Leads in our Island the chance to network, identify and explore common experiences and engage with our office in a safe and confidential environment.

The network’s purpose is to promote compliance and awareness of the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018 and demonstrate our office’s commitment to providing support to local Data Protection Officers and Leads by offering the opportunity for discussion and to contribute to our office's development of initiatives and other guidance, where appropriate.
