On behalf of the Authority, it is once again my pleasure to present our Annual Report for 2023. This fulfils our statutory obligation under Article 44 of the DPAJL 2018.
This will be my last foreword, with my term as Chair coming to an end during 2024.
I am very thankful for the fact that I was allowed to be the chair of the Authority since 2018. The Authority has come a long way in the five years since its inception in 2018; we have navigated through unprecedented change and seen major growth and development of the Jersey Office of the Information Commissioner (JOIC) in terms of expertise, capacity and headcount.
