Data Protection Registrations
The Data Protection Authority (Jersey) Law 2018 requires organisations established in Jersey who are processing personal data to register with us. The principal purpose of registration is transparency and openness.
To create a new registration, renew an existing registration, manage administered registrations or access/update your registration details, please log into your user profile or create one if you do not already have one.
You can also click through to our registration guidance to understand if you need to register, review our frequently asked questions and general registration guidance including for administered registrations.
If you are logging into the registration portal for the first time since we launched our new website on 16 December 2025, you will need to:
- Under Manage Registration(s), click on 'Log in'.
- Log in using your existing email address (if you are unsure what email address this is, please contact us).
- You will then be sent a one-time passcode via email (please check your junk/spam folder in case it has arrived in there).
- Enter the one-time passcode. A message will be returned stating 'We can’t find your account, do you want to create a new account with [email address] now?'
- Click on create account which should pre-populate some of the required information fields. Confirm you are human and submit the form.
- This will log you in and take you directly to the registration portal page where you will see your existing linked registrations, can link to new registrations and manage registrations.
- We have gone passwordless. Once your account is created, you will log in using a one-time passcode which will be sent to your email address each time.
